Animal Rescue Organizations

Did you know that cats and dogs are not the only animals that are homeless and are available for adoption through local animal shelters and animal rescue organizations? Rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, horses, degus, hedgehogs and a whole host of other animals, reptiles and barn yard animals all have animal rescue organizations that actively try to find homes for these homeless creatures.
